PAKISTAN ENGINEERING COUNCIL  POSTS DETAIL

1. Director Administration :


Director Administration (PEC-19) is a Regular post and the total post is 1. The maximum age limit is 45 Years. The required qualification is Master's Degree in Management/ Administrative Sciences/ Public Policy/ MPA/ MBA (HR, Management) /BS Management Sciences/ BBA (Hons.) or relevant (min. 16 years of education) from the university/institute recognized by HEC. Only one 2nd division in academic career will be acceptable; however, the final/terminal degree must be obtained in 1" division. 

Minimum 12 years relevant post qualification experience including 07 years in positions equivalent to BPS-18 (in case of the public sector) or relevant experience in a middle-level position in private sector organization of repute. The person shall be experienced in areas of organizational/ administrative policies and internal quality procedures. Background knowledge of dealing with quality procedural audits, risk management, procurement, tender processes, PPRA rules, fleet management, inventory and assets management, quality reporting, and analysis will be preferred. Proficiency in operations of an ERP system, conversant with MIS, MS Office, and relevant management training is also required. Knowledge of the PEC Act & Bye-laws will be an added advantage. A person should have good organizational and presentation skills with a pleasant personality. 

2. Director HRM:

Director HRM (PEC-19) is a Regular post and the total post is 1. The maximum age limit is 45 Years. The required qualifications Master's Degree in Management/ Administrative Sciences/ Public Policy/ MPA/ MBA(HR, Management) /BS Management Sciences/ BBA (Hons) or relevant (min. 16 years of education) from an institute recognized by HEC. Only one td division in an academic career will be acceptable; however, the final/terminal degree must be obtained in f division. 

Minimum 12 years relevant post qualification experience including 07 years in positions equivalent to BPS-18 (in case of public sector) or relevant experience in middle level position in private sector organization of repute. The person shall be experienced in areas of organizational/ administrative policies and internal quality procedures. Background knowledge of dealing quality procedural audits, risk management, management of HR Operations, legal matters, Esta-Code, reporting and analysis will be preferred. Proficiency in operations of an ERP system, conversant with MIS, MS Office and relevant Management trainings is also required. Knowledge of PEC Act & Byelaws will be an added advantage. A person should have good organizational and presentation skills with a pleasant personality.

3. Director Finance & Accounts

Director Finance & Accounts (PEC-19) is a Regular post and the total post is 1. The maximum age limit is 45 Years. The required qualification Chartered Accountant (CA), ACMA, Master's Degree in Finance, MBA (Finance/Accounting), or a minimum of 16 years of relevant qualification in the field of accounting / Finance recognized by HEC. Only one 2d division in an academic career will be acceptable; however, the final/terminal degree must be obtained in f division. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing CA/ACMA qualification. 

Minimum 12 years post qualification experience in relevant positions (BP517 and above) including 07 years of experience in a managerial position equivalent to BPS-18 (in case of public sector) or middle-level relevant position in the private sector of repute. Experience required may be relaxed for CA/ACMA qualification as per the Government.
